Here at Click we’re a small team. We don’t have time to spend days publishing and planning all our Social Medias Profiles especially when we have more than one business to plan for. We wanted to move away from Hootsuite and needed something more professional and efficient. Let me introduce our new favourite platform ‘Meet Edgar’.
Right from the get go ‘Meet Edgar’ has been such an amazing help. It is clear right from the start that Meet Edgar loves content. Upload all of your content such as tips/facts, quotes, interesting news to help fill up your library. Your library is where all of this content is categorised. Each category can be renamed, and you can even choose whether you want the items in this folder to be only posted once. Otherwise your content will post randomly. As soon as one has been posted it moved to the back of the queue to be recycled and used again in the future.
My favourite feature of Meet Edgar has to be the RSS blog feed. By adding our Click Blog RSS feed, this ensures that whenever a new blog post is published, it will be uploaded into the Library and will post automatically at the time slots you select. For example, If I wanted a blog post to be posted on Social Media on Tuesday at 10AM regardless of what was already planned, Meet Edgar will replace the existing blog post with the brand new one you just published.
The Schedule tab is a week view plan that allows you to post as many times a day as you want! Take a look at a screenshot from our Schedule. As you can see throughout the day we have lots of different types of content scheduled to be posted. There is also an option to choose a recommended schedule option if you’re not sure when to post.
Just schedule all your content and watch your Social Media go into Auto pilot, leaving you more time log into your Social Media Profiles to interact and engage with your followers manually.
